I have brought myself a new ipod recently and i am trying to get my email and everything up and running again. My old one never had the option but this one has wi fi and everything so i assumed i could pick up my email if i could make a wi-fi connection. I asked in the shop how to connect email to ipod touch but they were not to sure themselves. My email is an aol address and usually i can access it on my computer ok but anywhere else i struggle. I did get the settings all in the ipod i thought but then it does not let me receive any emails, i cant really see Why Is My Aol Email Not Working though. I know the iphone would have been a better option but i was still tied into a contract and couldn’t just switch over mid way so i went for an ipod so i could get all the apps an stuff which is what i wanted mainly but did think it would be great to be able to pick up my email also whilst being out and about. The ipod itself is great and i love the touch screen but it seems changing settings etc is a bit more tricky. I got my friend to have a look who also has one but even he couldn’t get the email working as it should. It seems to accept the settings but then nothing works on it!. I think i may have to abandon the idea because it is far to much effort and stress than i need to be honest.
